Ms Cissy Chan was appointed as Executive Director, Commercial of Airport Authority of Hong Kong in 2012. Ms Chan oversees the commercial development of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). She is responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies, which spans retail, advertising and aviation logistics including air cargo development. Ms Chan has a wealth of general management experience gained from local and multinational organisations, across fast-moving consumer goods and the real estate industry.
Filip Soete is Chief Commercial Officer of France’s second-largest airport since April 2013. His main task is to head up the Commercial Business Unit, which is responsible for generating all the non-aviation revenue of the Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur company, and its capital investment programme.
This includes responsibility for airport shops, car parks, car rental companies, property development, new products and services, restaurants and advertising, and for defining the Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur sales and marketing strategy.
Filip leads a team of 70 people and is a member of the Executive Committee.
Filip Soete worked as an auditor with Arthur Young Audit & Consulting in Belgium and as Country Manager and Sales & Marketing Director Europe for SABENA, the Belgian Airlines.
He holds a master’s degree in law from the Catholic University of Leuven, a diploma from the Catholic University of Leuven Institute of Corporate Administration and Management and a postgraduate diploma from Kauthammer International. He is also a graduate of the INSEAD AMP Advanced Management Programme.

retail authority, Simon has so far enjoyed an 18 year career in travel retail
working for and with the world's leading brands and airports.
He has held senior management roles with
the former British Airports Authority (BAA) and
most recently with Heathrow Airport where
he was responsible for the luxury retail portfolio encompassing almost 50
retail stores. During his 8 years with Heathrow, he led the
transformation of the luxury offer into
the world class proposition it is today. Simon
was instrumental in influencing Louis
Vuitton to choose Heathrow Terminal 5 as its first foray into European airport
Prior to joining HDH in 2017, Simon led
the Travel Retail and International business at the
British luxury brand Smythson.
